I hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July holiday celebration. I know I did :). And now, it's back to focusing on what is important: books!
For the last few days I have been checking and rechecking my inventory and figuring out which books will make their debut at the Leimert Park Book Fair next month. This is my first time attending as a vendor and I am a little anxious, a little excited and terrified at the same time. As a matter of fact, this is a year of "firsts" for me.
Today's blog will be short due to the number of projects I am working on. But please, PLEASE mark your calendars for August 24th. From 10-5 you can meet with dozens of authors (including myself), enjoy the festivities and I believe there will be a surprise guest making an appearance too. This is a huge event for the city of Los Angeles, so do not expect a single dull moment.
