I Could Neva
Allow another human being to determine my value.
Allow myself to pour into others without pouring into myself.
Allow myself to mourn the loss of a relationship that left me in pieces rather than provide me peace.
Compare myself to another: I am GREAT therefore I AM. 
Allow a man to convince me that I am not worth the desires of my heart.
Allow a man’s actions or inactions to determine my self-worth.
Argue with a man with the intellect and will power of a gecko.
Allow myself to engage in the culture of “male worship”.
Offer loyalty to a man who has yet to prove his fealty to me. 
Sacrifice my comforts in the name of settling.
